Blackhawks Rumors: Chicago interested trading for Canucks' J.T Miller?
The Vancouver Canucks continue to be a team to watch, as there's been a lot of trade speculation surrounding some of their best players. Specifically, J.T Miller continues to be discussed, as a potential trade candidate, with the likes of the New York Rangers and Columbus Blue Jackets being linked early on.
According to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, if he was running the Chicago Blackhawks, he'd be making a trade offer to Patrik Allvin in Vancouver for Miller's services.

Miller, 31, is signed for $8 million AAV through the 2029-30 season. He holds a no-movement clause and certainly has all the say on where he'll approve a trade to. Could a rebuilding team like the Blackhawks be something Miller would be open to? Or, does he want to wait it out to see if the Rangers' GM Chris Drury can get Allvin on board with a blockbuster between New York and Vancouver?
Miller has recorded six goals and 25 points in 28 games this season. He's shown the past two Stanley Cup Playoff appearances that he's a big-game player, at over a point per game production. And, with all the hoop la surrounding his antics with Elias Pettersson, perhaps it's time for a change of scenery. A former teammate, Brad Richardson recently confirmed Miller is very hard on Pettersson, and that their beef could have some substance.

Regardless, Miller to the Blackhawks would be a huge boost for Chicago and give them an intense gamer to help Connor Bedard out with trying to get the team back into the playoff picture next season.
