Canucks Trade Rumors: 3 Potential Landing Spots for Brock Boeser
The Vancouver Canucks have more than just JT Miller and Elias Pettersson to worry about as we get closer to the NHL's trade deadline on March 7th. There's also the matter of pending unrestricted free agent Brock Boeser. There is absolutely nothing to report on any extension talks between the two sides, and a trade seems like a real possibility.
Sources indicate that many teams expect Brock Boeser to be available at the deadline barring a serious Canucks turnaround.

If he does stay through this season, he'll likely be available on July 1, and a healthy group will be vying for his services on a long-term deal – something…
Insider Rick Dhaliwal says that teams are indeed calling the Canucks to enquire about Boeser.
With that in mind, it's time to take a look at three potential landing spots that make sense for last year's 40-goal scorer:
New Jersey Devils
The pressure is on in the Metropolitan Division after the Carolina Hurricanes' blockbuster move to acquire superstar Mikko Rantanen. The 3rd place Devils must be feeling the heat especially, as it feels like a first-round matchup with the 2nd-place Canes is almost inevitable at this point. Landing another big scorer for their top six would be a big boon to the team, and Boeser could be the fit.
Minnesota Wild
The Wild are another team that considers themselves a strong contender, with the need of another top-six scoring option. A Minnesota native, Boeser sure makes sense for the Wild. He was a strong playoff performer for Vancouver last season with seven goals in 12 games. He'll bring some postseason punch up front to a team that could use it.
Los Angeles Kings
The Kings are in solid playoff positioning, but they'll need to give their offense a boost. They currently rank 20th in the NHL in goals-per-game at 2.87, and their power play ranks a mediocre 30th in the league. Boeser would be a nice fit to fill those roles for the Kings, as he finished 7th in the NHL in power play goals last season. And he would slot right in on a line with Quinton Byfield and Warren Foegele.
Boeser is currently on a 30-goal pace overall this year, though he missed time earlier in the season with a concussion, which will make it difficult for him to reach that mark.
