The veteran winger had seven goals, and nine assists for 16 points in 43 games this season. However, Saad scored 26 goals last season, he has two Stanley Cups from his days with the Chicago Blackhawks.

Saad signed a five-year, $22.5 million contract with the Blues as a free agent in the summer of 2021. During his first season with the Blues, Saad scored 24 goals and 25 assists for 49 points in 78 games, adding five points in 12 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
