TSN Releases New Trade Bait Board: A Look at the Top 10

The latest intel on the most likely candidates to be traded has just landed, as TSN has released its first Trade Bait board of 2025.

And who had Elias Pettersson and JT Miller being 1-2 at the top of any trade board on their bingo card for this season? With the chaos surrounding the Vancouver Canucks' two star centers, that's exactly where we're at.

And with centers so highly in demand by so many teams, no less than six pivots show up in TSN's Top 10:

Several high-profile teams are interested in Nelson, the Islanders pending UFA, including the Boston Bruins, Dallas Stars, and Toronto Maple Leafs.

Gibson is the only goalie on the entire list of 30 names, but it is sounding more and more like the Ducks are finally willing to pull the trigger on a deal this season for the 12-year veteran netminder. The Edmonton Oilers are the latest team to be linked to Gibson.

The Oilers have also been linked to a couple of others in the Top 10, including defensemen Savard and Pettersson.

The Leafs, a team desperately in need of another center, have been rumored to have interest in a few on this list in Laughton, Gourde and even Nelson, though a recent report indicates that the Flyers might have different plans for Laughton.

Similarly, two other players farther down on the TSN list, Ryan O'Reilly at #17, and Dylan Cozens at #22, will be difficult for teams to obtain.
