3 Potential Trade Destinations For Red Wings' Vladimir Tarasenko

On Sportsnet's Saturday Headlines, NHL insider Elliotte Friedman reported that Detroit Red Wings forward Vladimir Tarasenko's name has come up in trade talks. The 33-year-old winger has struggled this season with the Red Wings, and a change of scenery may benefit the 2010 first-round pick.

Due to this, let's go over three potential landing spots for Tarasenko if he agrees to waive his no-trade clause.

Dallas Stars

The Stars could be a club to watch in the Tarasenko sweepstakes. There is no question that they could use another skilled forward in their middle six, and acquiring Tarasenko would provide them with that. He could also be a fit on their second power-play unit and would give them a two-time Stanley Cup champion.

Colorado Avalanche

The Avalanche stand out as a prime potential landing spot for Tarasenko. It is no secret that they need more secondary scoring, and Tarasenko provides that. When looking at the Avalanche's current roster, Tarasenko could slot nicely on their second line with Casey Mittelstadt and Jonathan Drouin if acquired.

Los Angeles Kings

The Kings have been on the hunt for another scoring winger, so a player like Tarasenko could grab their attention. He could be a great fit on either their second or third line and would give them another forward for their power play if acquired.
