3 Potential Trade Destinations For Utah HC's Lawson Crouse
The Utah Hockey Club's Lawson Crouse has found himself back in the rumor mill in what has been a tough season for the power forward. However, while he has struggled this season (eight goals and 12 points in 55 games), there still could be a good amount of interest in him at the deadline because of his size and past scoring success. From 2021-22 to 2023-24, he scored at least 20 goals in each season.
Due to this, let's go over three potential landing spots for Crouse.
Columbus Blue Jackets
The Blue Jackets are in a position to add, and a player like Crouse could grab their attention because of it. The Blue Jackets could a boost in their top nine and more overall grit, so Crouse could be a solid addition to their group as they look to secure a playoff spot. He is also signed until the end of 2026-27, which could make him appealing to a team on the rise like Columbus.
Ottawa Senators
The Senators are looking for help on offense, so they could be a team to watch when it comes to Crouse. The 6-foot-4 winger would fit nicely in their middle six and would also be an option for their power play as well. Overall, the Sens could use another left winger, so don't be surprised if Crouse ends up being in their sights.
New York Rangers
The Rangers also stand out as a potential suitor for Crouse. The Rangers currently do not hold a playoff spot, so a player with term like Crouse could grab their attention. It is no secret that they want to add a hard-nosed forward to their top nine, and Crouse would give them that.
