3 Potential Trade Destinations For Penguins' Michael Bunting

Pittsburgh Penguins forward Michael Bunting has found himself in the rumor mill this season. It is understandable, as the Penguins are open to making changes to their group as they retool their roster. With this, let's go over three potential landing spots for the scrappy winger.

Colorado Avalanche

The Avalanche will be on the hunt for wingers this offseason. There is no question that their middle six could use a boost, and bringing in a player like Bunting would give them just that. When looking at a potential spot for him in the Avalanche's lineup, he could slot nicely on their second line with Jonathan Drouin and Casey Mittelstadt.

Vegas Golden Knights

The Golden Knights are aiming to add to their forward group, and a player like Bunting could grab their attention because of it. He could be a nice fit on their second or third line and would also give them another option for their power play. With the Golden Knights needing more secondary offensive production, Bunting could be a solid pickup for them.

Columbus Blue Jackets

The Blue Jackets are right in the playoff race this season and could be buyers at the deadline because of it. Bringing in a player like Bunting to their top nine could interest them, especially when noting that he is signed beyond this season.
