3 Potential Trade Destinations For Sabres' Bowen Byram

It has been a rough season for the Buffalo Sabres, and changes are expected to be made because of it. Defenseman Bowen Byram is one of their top trade candidates, and all eyes will be on him as we get closer to the March 7 trade deadline. Due to this, let's go over three teams that could look to acquire him now.

Winnipeg Jets

One of the Jets' top trade deadline objectives should be to add a top-four left-shot defenseman. It is clear that their left side could use a boost, and Byram could be a perfect addition to their roster because of it. When looking at their lineup, Byram could slot nicely on their second pairing. However, due to his ability to play on the right side, he also could compete for top pairing minutes, too.

Anaheim Ducks

The Ducks have been connected to Byram, and it is understandable. Byram would give their defensive group a nice boost, but he is also still young enough where he could fit into their rebuild. His ability to play both sides could make him be a candidate for top pairing minutes if acquired. In addition, he would fit on both of their special team units.

Dallas Stars

The Dallas Stars have been on the hunt for another defenseman, even after recently adding Cody Ceci. It is understandable, as Miro Heiskanen is out month-to-month. Due to this, Byram could be a major addition to a Stars team that has Stanley Cup aspirations.
