Devin Shore Placed on Waivers for 4th Time This Season
To say it's been a rollercoaster season for Minnesota Wild forward Devin Shore would be an understatement. He's been placed on waivers for the fourth time in the 2024-25 campaign.

He's gone unclaimed each time, and the depth forward is expected once again to clear this time around and head back down to Iowa in the American Hockey League. He's played in 14 games there this season, and has recorded 10 points, but also has a plus/minus rating of -11.
With the Wild this year, Shore has three points in 34 games, with an average of 8:48 of ice time in those contests.
Shore was a second-round pick in the 2012 NHL Draft by the Dallas Stars, and played two full 82-game seasons to begin his career there from 2016 through 2018. He was dealt to the Anaheim Ducks in his third season, and has also gone on to play for the Columbus Blue Jackets, Edmonton Oilers (for three seasons), and Seattle Kraken.
In his first three seasons, he was a reliable secondary scorer, reaching double-digits in goals each year. But he's had trouble finding a regular role since then, and has only reached five goals and 12 points tops in any season since then.
Assuming he clears waivers, the 6'1" center could be called back up to the Wild before their next game on Feb. 22nd.
