Islanders Rumors: 3 Potential Trade Destinations For Kyle Palmieri

Trades around the NHL are starting to pick up in a big way, and this should only continue as we get closer to the 2025 NHL trade deadline. The New York Islanders will be a team to watch, as they currently do not hold a playoff spot and could be sellers. Due to this, pending UFA Kyle Palmieri has created chatter as a trade candidate. Thus, let's discuss three teams who could look to add him now.

Colorado Avalanche

The Avalanche will be on the hunt for more scoring depth leading up to the deadline. It is something they have been looking to address, and bringing in a player like Palmieri to their roster would be big because of it. He could be a strong addition to their second line and be a nice rental for the Central Division squad.

New Jersey Devils

The Devils are looking for more secondary scoring, so they could consider reuniting with Palmieri. The veteran winger had a strong six-year tenure as a Devil and could fit in nicely in their middle six and on their power play.

Dallas Stars

The Stars have been on the hunt for forward help, and a winger like Palmieri could grab their attention because of it. He would give them more secondary offensive production and could slot nicely on their second line with Matt Duchene and Jamie Benn if acquired.
