Jack Eichel on USA-Canada 4 Nations Final: 'Might be the biggest game of my career'

Who says the 4 Nations Face-Off doesn't mean anything to the players and is just another all-star gimmicky tournament? It's been an electric week, and the fun is just beginning, as everyone gets the dream final we've been waiting for. Canada versus USA.

For American forward Jack Eichel, who has hoisted the Stanley Cup, he feels Thursday's matchup in Boston could potentially be the biggest game of his career.

"This is huge, it's the biggest game I've played in quite some time, maybe ever," the American forward told reporters, including the Boston Globe's Conor Ryan, about the championship matchup following a meaningless loss to Sweden on Monday night. "I'm really looking forward to it. I think everyone in the room's looking forward to it. It's what we wanted, right?"

Eichel is having a strong season with the Vegas Golden Knights, and has played top-line minutes for USA, in between Matthew and Brady Tkachuk. Both Tkachuk brothers were banged up earlier in the tournament, but head coach Mike Sullivan confirmed that both will play in Thursday's final.

Eichel is tied for second in the tournament with four assists in three games. He's a big game player and has shown so throughout his career, including posting six goals and 20 assists over 22 Stanley Cup Playoff games in 2023.
