NHL Rumors: 3 Trade Targets For The Winnipeg Jets

The Winnipeg Jets are currently at the top of the NHL standings, and they are set to be buyers at the 2025 NHL trade deadline because of it. They should be looking to improve their depth by March 7, so let's go over a few potential trade targets for them now.

Brock Nelson

When looking at the Jets' roster, it is fair to argue that they could use another skilled center. Due to this, they could be a team to watch when it comes to Nelson.. He would offer them another proven option for their second-line center spot and give their power play a nice boost. He could also thrive with Nikolaj Ehlers and Cole Perfetti getting him the puck.

Mario Ferraro

The Jets could be a team to watch when it comes to Ferraro. He could be a strong fit on their second pairing with Neal Pionk but also could be effective in a bottom-pairing role. He is also signed until the end of the 2025-26 season, so he would be more than a rental for the Jets if acquired.

David Savard

The Jets will likely look to add another right-shot defenseman to their roster before the deadline, and Savard could be a good addition to their group. He would give them more stability on their bottom pairing and would also be another option for their penalty kill. He also has experience in the playoffs and a Stanley Cup on his resume, which could make him appealing to Winnipeg.
