NHL Rumors: 3 Trade Targets For The Vancouver Canucks

The Vancouver Canucks have made multiple changes to their roster this offseason, and it is unlikely that they are done yet. They currently hold the second wild card spot in the Western Conference, so they could look to make some additions to their roster before the deadline passes.

Due to this, let's go over three players who the Canucks could consider making a push for.

Jared McCann

Could the Canucks try to spark a reunion with their 2014 first-round pick, Jared McCann? A potential fit is there. After trading J.T. Miller to the New York Rangers, the Canucks undoubtedly could use another top-six forward, and McCann would provide them with just that. This remains true whether he plays on the wing or down the middle, so he could be a nice addition to their group.

Dylan Cozens

The Canucks are one of the several teams who have been connected to Cozens, and it is easy to understand why. They have a hole down the middle in their top six after the Miller trade, so bringing in a skilled player with plenty of term like Cozens would be massive for them.

Trent Frederic

The Canucks could also focus on improving their bottom six at the deadline. When looking at potential fits, Boston Bruins forward Trent Frederic could be someone who gets their eye. He would give their bottom six more bite and could fit virtually anywhere due to his ability to play both center and on the wing.
