Penguins' Crosby & Canucks' Hughes could miss 4 Nations Face-Off
Anytime you schedule an in-season hockey tournament, there's certainly a chance some injuries are going to force players to miss out on the event, and with the 4 Nations Face-Off starting next week, it sounds like a couple of big names are in jeopardy.
Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby got tangled up last night against the New Jersey Devils, and had to leave the game for a short period of time. Crosby hurt his leg and midsection, and while he did return to the game, he missed practice on Wednesday, and continues to be evaluated.

Meanwhile in Vancouver, captain Quinn Hughes missed Tuesday's contest against the Colorado Avalanche, and reports have surfaced he won't be available for the Canucks for the rest of the week. Head coach Rick Tocchet is admittedly concerned for Hughes, and knows he wants to represent Team USA, but his obligations to get healthy for the Canucks should be at the forefront.
Quinn Hughes won’t travel with the Canucks to San Jose, and will miss his 3rd straight game.

“It depends on the next 48 hours.”
“We’ll sit down with Quinn and talk to him.”
“Like every player, you’re concerned about safety and health.”#Canucks @Sportsnet650
