PK Subban RIPS Penguins: "It's on Kyle Dubas... This is Inexcusable!"
While watching the Pittsburgh Penguins get absolutely demolished by the Washington Capitals on Saturday, from his perch in the ABC TV intermission studio, former NHLer PK Subban blasted the Penguins with a savage vocal beatdown.
This is a poorly built team, to me. They’re undersized, undermanned. They’re soft in every area. In the (defensive) zone. They’re soft in the corners, the front of the net...
Mike Sullivan and Sidney Crosby are at a huge disadvantage... They’ve got a lot of great players that deserve more talent to have to work with here. There’s no excuse for this team to be this bad.
Here's the full :53 second blast, including Subban going off on GM Kyle Dubas, laying the blame solely at his feet.

So they’re set up to fail. And to me, the way this team is built, it’s inexcusable...
For me, it’s on Kyle Dubas. You get paid 7 million bucks, that’s what I expect. If it’s a rebuild, then rebuild. If it’s not, then we’ve got to see better results on the ice. This is inexcusable for me.
Subban emphasized during his rant that he really feels for Crosby and his head coach.
"This is not enough for Sidney Crosby. He needs a better team around him. Mike Sullivan needs better players to coach. And if it’s not going to be better players, it’s got to be put together the right way for these guys to be able to have a chance to make the playoffs. And I don’t see it."
The former Norris Trophy winner and 3-time All-Star really lost it after watching the Caps overwhelm the Pens with five goals in the second period to blow the game open.
The Penguins sit second from last in the Eastern Conference, and while they're seven points back of a Wild Card spot, there are six other teams ahead of them chasing that spot as well.
