This is massive news for Team Canada, as Crosby is one of the game's biggest stars and will be a major part of their forward group for the tournament.
At Canada's practice, Crosby centered the second line, with Vegas Golden Knights captain Mark Stone and Colorado Avalanche superstar Nathan MacKinnon as his wingers. This line has the potential to be incredible for Canada.
Crosby is having another spectacular season for the Penguins, as he has 17 goals, 41 assists, and 58 points.
It will be fascinating to see how much of an impact Crosby makes for Canada now that he has confirmed that he will be playing.
