Team Canada Gets Brutal Josh Morrissey News
Team Canada will be without one of their best defensemen for their 4 Nations Face-Off championship game against Team USA, as Winnipeg Jets blueliner Josh Morrissey has been ruled out due to an illness.
With Morrissey being out for the contest, Dallas Stars defenseman Thomas Harley will replace him in the lineup for Team Canada.

Morrissey is a legitimate star defenseman, so Team Canada will, without a doubt, miss him in the lineup greatly against a tough Team USA squad. He provides a bit of everything from the point, but they will now need to adjust without him in the lineup.
Morrissey, 29, has appeared in 56 games this season with the Jets, where he had seven goals, 39 assists, 46 points, and a plus-8 rating.
While it stings that Morrissey can't play, at least they are getting another very good defenseman with Harley as his replacement. In 53 games this season with the Stars, the 6-foot-3 left-shot defenseman has nine goals, 20 assists, 29 points, and a plus-26 rating.
