Team USA Players React To Phone Call From President Trump Ahead of 4 Nations Final

U.S. President Donald Trump, although he cannot attend tonight's big USA/Canada Final at the 4 Nations Face-Off, has made sure his presence is felt, by calling the team this morning to wish them luck and show his support.

New York Rangers center JT Miller was stoked to get the call.

"It was so awesome to get his support," said Miller. "It's a pretty big deal for him to take time out of his schedule to talk to us for five minutes. It's just another one of those things where we're kind of pinching ourselves this tournament."

The Islanders' Brock Nelson also was thrilled to get the call.

“Pretty incredible. … For him to take time out of his day, wish us luck and talking about just enjoying the moment … it’s pretty special and something I’ll remember forever.”

Head coach Mike Sullivan called it "an incredible honor", and gave the players credit for bringing this event and their efforts to such a big stage.
