Vancouver Canucks Defenseman Done For The Season: Report

According to Rick Dhaliwal of CHEK and The Athletic, Vancouver Canucks defenseman Noah Juulsen is set to undergo hernia surgery this week and is done for the season.
Juulsen, 27, played in 35 games this season with the Canucks, where he had zero points, 60 blocks, 101 hits, and a minus-12 rating. This was after he appeared in 54 games last season with the Canucks, where he had one goal and set new career highs with six assists, seven points, 85 blocks, and 164 hits.

Juulsen's last appearance with the Canucks was on Feb. 2 against the Detroit Red Wings, where he recorded two hits and two blocks.

With Juulsen being out for the season, the Canucks will be without one of their experienced depth defenseman as they look to secure a playoff spot in the Western Conference.

Juulsen was selected by the Montreal Canadiens with the 26th overall pick of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. In 157 career NHL games over seven seasons split between the Canadiens, Florida Panthers, and Canucks, Juulsen has three goals, 14 assists, 17 points, 455 hits, and a minus-13 rating.
