Video: Bruins' Marchand shuts down trade rumors: 'Not something I see happening'
Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand has found himself in a rare spot - trade rumors. Marchand is a pending unrestricted free agent and with the Bruins fighting for a playoff spot, there's been plenty of rumors circulating about his future. However, Marchand doesn't appear to be too worried about it.
Before the Bruins' captain made way to the 4 Nations Face-Off in Montreal this week, he sat down with the What Chaos podcast, with Pete Blackburn and DJ Bean, and the put Marchand on the spot, asking him how he felt about the ongoing trade rumors:
"I think I'd feel very weird...probably a little lost...I don't really think about it cause it's not something that I really see happening"

Marchand is owed $6 million this season, and does not have trade protection on his contract. Considering everything he's done for the franchise, it's expected if the trade talks did advance to something substantial, Bruins' GM Don Sweeney would get Marchand involved and let him decide on his next move.
So far, the Colorado Avalanche and Edmonton Oilers have been the two teams linked the most, but seeing Marchand in anything but the 'B', would be a very odd site, to say the very least.
