The 32-year-old is an exceptional two-way player, and has once again contributed double-digits in goals, with 10 through 52 games, on pace to far surpass the 11 he notched last season.
And on the other side of the puck, he continues to be an extremely responsible 200-foot player, with a plus/minus rating of +18, following the +17 he notched last year. He has been excellent in the second-line center role for the Jets.
This is Namestnikov's 12 season in the NHL, with 327 points in 760 games, with a +44 rating. The Jets are his 7th stop in the league, and will be his longest-tenured team aside from the six seasons he spent in Tampa Bay.
