We've signed @UNDmhockey defenseman Caleb MacDonald to a two-year entry level contract beginning with the 25-26 season.

According to Frank Seravalli, MacDonald is now the fourth of the seven top undrafted free agents from college to be signed.
MacDonald is a defenseman who is on the University of North Dakota this season and has three goals and 10 points in 35 games. This is his second season in college after graduating from the AJHL where he put up some nice offensive numbers.
The 22-year-old doesn't project to be a top point getter, but the Blue Jackets were a good team to sign with right now after losing some young defensemen in recent years and it being a great young organization to develop.
