Devils Acquire Promising Forward From Penguins

The Devils are making waves on trade deadline day, and the action isn’t slowing down!

According to Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman, forward Cody Glass is packing his bags and heading from Pittsburgh to the New Jersey Devils.

The 25-year-old Winnipeg native has put up four goals and 15 points in 51 games this season, showing flashes of the potential that made him the sixth overall pick by the Vegas Golden Knights back in 2017.

Glass’s journey has been anything but straightforward—he was part of a blockbuster three-team trade in 2021 that saw Nolan Patrick land in Vegas, and he eventually made his way to Pittsburgh last offseason in a deal with the Predators that also brought in two draft picks for center Jordan Frasca.
