Maple Leafs’ Ryan Reaves & 4 Others Placed On Waivers

The waiver wire has plenty of new players on it, as Ryan Reaves (Toronto Maple Leafs), Tyler Pitlick (Boston Bruins), Riley Stillman (Carolina Hurricanes), Evan Cormier (Florida Panthers), and Cameron Hebig (Utah Hockey Club) are all available for the taking.

Reaves, 38, has appeared in 35 games this season with the Maple Leafs, where he has two assists, 28 penalty minutes, and 103 hits. The veteran winger has a $1.35 million cap hit until the end of the 2025-26 season.

Pitlick just signed an NHL contract with the Bruins after spending this season on an AHL deal with the Providence Bruins. However, after signing this NHL deal, he now must clear waivers to continue playing for Providence. In 43 games this season with Providence, he has 16 goals and 33 points.

Stillman, 26, has played in two games this season with the Hurricanes, where he has zero points and a minus-1 rating. This is after he had a goal and two assists in 18 games last season with the Buffalo Sabres.

Cormier, 27, has spent this season with the Panthers'  ECHL affiliate, the Savannah Ghost Pirates. In 27 games this campaign, he has a 14-9-2 record, a .881 save percentage, and a 3.56 goals-against average.

As for Hebig, he just signed a one-year, two-way contract with Utah and is in the same situation as Pitlick. In 48 games this season with the Tucson Roadrunners, he has 20 goals, 37 points, and a plus-10 rating.
