Minnesota Wild Lose 6th Player to Injury As Marco Rossi Goes Down
The Minnesota Wild and their fans are holding their breath as their cursed season has led to yet another key player injury. Marco Rossi was struck in an unprotected area on his leg by a hard shot, and left Wednesday night's game, not to return.

Rossi left the game after playing just three minutes. The team is awaiting an update, as he is now the 6th regular out of the lineup, as the team has recently fallen into a Wild Card spot, as they try to maintain their playoff status in the Western Conference.

This season is beyond belief
If Rossi misses any time, he'll join the outrageous injured list that includes Kirill Kaprizov, Joel Eriksson Ek, Jonas Brodin, Marcus Foligno, and Marcus Johansson.
There isn’t a timeline for the return of their leading scorer, Kaprizov, but the Wild are holding out hope that he will suit up at some point this season. No timeline for Eriksson Ek either. Neither have started skating again yet.
Johansson and Foligno have only missed a couple of games and are day-to-day, while Brodin is nearing a return, the team says.
As for Rossi, who is the team's second-leading scorer in points, with 53 in 69 games, the former 9th overall pick (2020 Draft) was hoping to continue building on a tremendous second full season in the league, with his second straight 20+ goal season, and already a career-high in points. He's also registered a plus/minus rating of +11.
The team will hope for the best.
