Condotta, 27, has appeared in seven games this season with the Canadiens, where he has one goal, 10 hits, and a minus-2 rating. However, he has spent the majority of the campaign down with the Canadiens' American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Laval Rocket. In 50 games this season with the AHL squad as their captain, he has three goals, 23 points, 58 penalty minutes, and a plus-3 rating.
Condotta has been with the Canadiens organization during the final stages of the 2021-22 season. He signed with the Habs following the completion of his four-year collegiate career with UMass-Lowell. Now, he is sticking around with the Canadiens for another two seasons after this one by signing this new contract extension.
Condotta has appeared in 11 career NHL games over three seasons with the Canadiens, where he has two goals, 18 hits, and a minus-1 rating. It will be interesting to see how well he improves upon his career stats after earning this extension with the Canadiens from here.
