New York Rangers Sign Promising Prospect Noah Laba

The New York Rangers have announced that they have signed forward Noah Laba to a two-year, entry-level contract, which will begin during the 2025-26 season. In addition, Laba has signed an amateur tryout with the Hartford Wolf Pack for the remainder of this campaign. 

Laba, 21, was selected by the Rangers with the 111th overall pick of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. The 6-foot-2 forward has spent each of the last three seasons at the NCAA level with Colorado College. However, after signing his entry-level deal, he is now ready to begin his professional career. 

Laba appeared in 29 games this season with Colorado College, where he had 10 goals, 26 points, 25 penalty minutes, and a plus-10 rating. This is after he posted 20 goals, 37 points, and a plus-20 rating during this past season with the school. Overall, he undoubtedly showed off solid offensive potential during his NCAA career, and his goal from here will now be to translate it over to the AHL level and onward. 

In 100 career NCAA games with Colorado College, Laba had 41 goals, 44 assists, and 85 points. Overall, he had a strong collegiate career, and it will be interesting to see how much of an impact he can make with the Rangers organization from here.
