NHL Rumors: 3 Anaheim Ducks Who Could Be Traded By Deadline

The Anaheim Ducks have taken a step in the right direction this season, but they still do not hold a playoff spot. Due to this, there is an expectation that they will be sellers at the 2025 NHL trade deadline.

Let's look at three Ducks players who have the potential to be traded by Anaheim by the deadline now.

John Gibson

Gibson has had a strong bounce-back season for the Ducks, and he has been creating plenty of buzz as a trade candidate because of it. In 24 games, he has a 9-9-2 record, but his .916 save percentage and 2.66 goals-against average show that he has been very solid. He is back to his elite form, and contenders who need goalie help should be lining up to acquire him.

Trevor Zegras

Zegras has been a big name in the rumor mill since last season, so all eyes will be on him during this next week. The 23-year-old forward could benefit from a change of scenery at this juncture. Teams looking for a young top-six forward with good upside should be in the mix for the 2019 first-round pick.

Brian Dumoulin

Contenders can't have enough defensive depth, so don't be surprised if Dumoulin is a very popular trade over the next few days. The 33-year-old blueliner is a pending unrestricted free agent with two Stanley Cups on his resume, so there should be plenty of interest. This is especially so when noting that the defensive defenseman can handle top-four minutes and kills penalties.
