NHL Rumors: 3 Trade Targets For Florida Panthers

The Florida Panthers are one of the top teams in the NHL yet again this season, so they are expected to be buyers at the trade deadline. They should be aggressive as they look to repeat as Stanley Cup champions, so let's discuss three players who they could look to add now.

Seth Jones

The Panthers are one of the teams that have been connected to Jones, and it makes sense. After losing Brandon Montour to the Seattle Kraken this past off-season, there is no question that they could use a high-impact offensive defenseman for their second pairing on the right side. Thus, they could be a team to watch when it comes to Jones at the deadline.

Ivan Provorov

While the Blue Jackets are in the playoff race, Provorov is still creating chatter in the rumor mill with the deadline being less than a week away. The pending unrestricted free agent has the potential to be moved if the right offer comes around, and he could be a perfect addition to Florida's top four. This is especially so when noting that the left-shot defenseman can play both sides.

Vladimir Tarasenko

Tarasenko has not found his fit with the Detroit Red Wings, and his name has been creating buzz in the rumor mill. He worked well as a rental for the Panthers last season, so it would not be the most surprising of developments if they were open to bringing him back. He would give their middle six a boost, especially if he regains his scoring touch.
