NHL Trade Rumors: 3 Offseason Trade Destinations For Kraken's Jared McCann
Due to their struggles this season, the Seattle Kraken traded multiple players by the deadline. However, after being in the rumor mill leading up to the deadline, forward Jared McCain still remains with Seattle.
Yet, when noting that McCann generated plenty of interest and the Kraken are looking to shake up their roster, he is a clear player to watch in the rumor mill this offseason. Let's discuss three specific clubs who could target him now.
Vancouver Canucks
It would not be surprising in the slightest if the Canucks tried to reunite with McCann this offseason. They could use more skill in their top six after trading J.T. Miller earlier this season. This will be even more of the case if Brock Boeser signs elsewhere this offseason, so keep an eye on Vancouver when it comes to McCann this offseason.
Boston Bruins
The Bruins could be another team to watch when it comes to McCann this offseason. After blowing up their core at the deadline, they have a lot of money to work with this summer as they look continue to retool their group. With the team needing help down the middle and McCann being only 28 years old, he could be a nice fit for the Original Six club.
New York Rangers
The Rangers are likely to add to their roster this offseason, given how this season has gone for them. They should be looking to add another top-six forward with skill, and McCann would provide them with just that if acquired.
