Sources indicate Rangers have had “advanced discussions” with #Sabrehood on forward JJ Peterka. Let’s see where it goes.

The Rangers are trying to re-tool on the fly. They have been busy in sell mode of late, but also acquired defenseman Carson Soucy on Thursday, and have several other irons in the fire. Chris Kreider, K'Andre Miller and even Mika Zibanejad have been a part of trade conversations at some point this season.
As for Peterka, he's 23, still on his entry level contract, and is a pending restricted free agent this summer. Peterka has scored 18 goals and 49 points in 58 games this season, and if he winds up in New York, there's a very good chance Alexis Lafreniere could be heading the other way.
Keep your eyes peeled to NHLTR as we'll have all the trade reports, rumors, and breaking news coming your way before Friday's 3pm deadline.
