NHL Trade Rumors: 3 Chicago Blackhawks Offseason Trade Candidates

It was another tough season for the Chicago Blackhawks, and they could be in for a busy offseason because of it. The Blackhawks are still rebuilding their roster, so let's take a look at three players who have the potential to be dealt this summer.

Connor Murphy

Murphy is a Blackhawk who has been in the rumor mill for quite some time, so he is a player to keep an eye on this summer. Teams always value big right-shot, stay-at-home defenseman, so there could be plenty of interest in Murphy. This is especially so when noting that the free-agent market for right-shot defenseman is not the biggest this year.

Philipp Kurashev

Kurashev came up as a trade candidate leading up to the deadline, but a move did not come to fruition. The 25-year-old forward could use a change of scenery, as he has struggled this season in Chicago. In 51 games, he has seven goals, seven assists, and a minus-28 rating. While he has had a down year, there still could be interest in him this summer, as he had 18 goals and 54 points in 75 games just back in 2023-24.

Lukas Reichel

Reichel has had trouble breaking out with the Blackhawks, and he could be a player Chicago flips this summer if the right offer comes around because of it. The 2020 first-round pick has appeared in 69 games this season, where he has eight goals, 22 points, and a minus-1 rating.
