NHL Trade Rumors: 3 Seattle Kraken Offseason Trade Candidates

It has been another disappointing season for the Seattle Kraken, and they should be making some changes to their roster this offseason because of it. Due to this, let's take a look at three players who the Pacific Division club could look to trade this summer.

Jared McCann

McCann was a popular name in the rumor mill leading up to the deadline, but the Kraken opted to keep him around. However, it would not be surprising in the slightest if McCann generated interest yet again this offseason. Teams looking for more skill in their top six would love to get their hands on McCann, especially when noting that he has a reasonable $5 million cap hit until the end of 2026-27.

Jamie Oleksiak

Like McCann, Oleksiak has come up as a trade candidate in recent years. With the Kraken continuing to struggle, they could consider moving the 32-year-old blueliner for the right price. Teams will forever value big defenseman, so there could be a market for him during the summer.

Andre Burakovsky

Burakovsky is another player on the Kraken who was the subject of trade rumors leading up to the trade deadline. The 30-year-old winger could benefit from a change of scenery, and he could be a nice addition for a team needing more offense in their middle six.
